Bidvest was founded by Brian Joffe but has recently been split off from the foodservice's business where Joffe now operates. It is now run by Lindsay Ralphs and his team who operate a range of industrial services and logistics businesses under the Bidvest umbrella. It has a market cap of R52.7 billion, a dividend yield of 4.54 per cent and a price to earnings ratio of 14.92. Guest Devin Shutte from MyWealth Investments and resident expert Paul Theron from Vestact decide whether Bidvest is hot or not.
