The story of Luís Simões began in the 1930s, when Fernando Luís Simões and Delfina Rosa Soares, still adolescents, transported cart, vegetables and fruit produced by their families to the supplying markets of Lisbon and Malveira. In 1945 they marry and start, in parallel, a horticultural activity and open a grocery store.
