Securing freight capacity isn’t an easy thing today. The economy, e-commerce, and the driver shortage all cause problems for shippers trying to move product. This past winter saw historic shortages of capacity, and most experts believe tight capacity will only get tighter. Rosalyn Wilson, the Senior Business Analyst with Delcan Corporation, sums it up best by saying freight capacity issues are sporadic and unpredictable.
