Cross-Docking Trends Report

Saddle Creek Logistics Services developed the “Cross-Docking Trends Report,” an award winning industry research project which explored cross-docking and its value proposition and helped to establish an industry benchmark for cross-docking practices. In an effort to learn how cross-docking has changed since then and gain a better understanding of the impact of recent economic conditions on the practice, Saddle Creek conducted a follow-up study in December 2010. Once again, Saddle Creek commissioned an independent party to invite industry professionals responsible for and involved in warehousing, distribution and/or transportation to participate in an online survey.

Scudo: A Proposal for Resolving Software Supply Chain Insecurities in Vehicles

whitePaper | July 15, 2022

For many years supply chain security appears to have been something of a second-tier priority for both software developers and the companies that rely upon their product. It was more common to focus attention on what happens after the software is built, through code reviews, penetration testing, and the development and implementation of patches and updates. This type of approach overlooks the very real possibility that, even with all the efforts mentioned above, end users still have no guarantee they are actually installing the application originally conceived as a code base. Over time, this somewhat myopic vision has given malicious actors multiple opportunities to insert malware or damage images. But, recent events have rapidly forced the industry to take a wider perspective on how software security is defined.

Resilient Biomanufacturing:Operations and Supply Chain

whitePaper | March 31, 2022

To rapidly scale their manufacturing, our clients need the ability to investigate issues and model the effects of process changes. Foundry integrates data and logic from every stage & every team, from input materials to reactor conditions, and creates a digital twin of the entire development and manufacturing process. This foundation opens the door to virtual experimentation — our clients can use scenario analyses to plan vendor changes, optimize bioreactor yield, and compare quality metrics through time. The net result is a dramatic increase in process development velocity to achieve more consistent yields and efficient ramp-up of new therapies.

SAP Cloud Transport Management

whitePaper | August 11, 2022

SAP Cloud Transport Management service lets you manage software deliverables between accounts of different environments (such as Neo and Cloud Foundry), by transporting them across various runtimes. This includes application artifacts as well as their respective application-specific content. SAP Cloud Transport Management adds transparency to the audit trail of changes so that you get information about who performed which changes in your production environment, and when they did it. At the same time, SAP Cloud Transport Management enables a separation of concerns: For example, a developer of an application or of SAP Cloud content artifacts can trigger the transport of changes in a development subaccount, while the resulting import into the test, and production subaccount is handled by a central operations team
