Wish Plans to Reduce Shipping Costs For Buyers

Leading global mobile e-commerce platform, WISH, announced at the recently concluded 2022 Global Merchant Summit, its renewed focus on deepening merchant relationships, improving consumer experience, and achieving operational excellence.

Wish discussed its goals for next year at the Summit, including reducing shipping costs. As a result, wish will consider free shipping, "buy more, save more," and a simpler rate card for WishPost in 2023. The decision was made in direct response to consumer feedback, which identified shipping costs as one of the major pain points in the Wish shopping experience.

Wish's presentation also included the revamped fashion experience, Wish Fashion, the shoppable video feature, Wish Clips, the merchant scoring system and the new guest checkout experience.

Wish launched Deals Hub, a platform merchants can use to promote products on Wish.

The Deals Hub platform introduces new entry points and opportunities for discounts, boosting, and promotions, inspiring users' shopping experience. With the Deals Hub, merchants can run 'Discounts' (wide-ranging percentage discounts for 7-14 days), 'Flash Sales' (smaller percentage discounts for 12 hours), and merchandising 'Events' that connect their promotional campaigns with Wish's merchandise (e.g., every day is Black Friday).
