Walmart introduces new fulfillment service for supply chain

Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) is a service where select sellers can leverage Walmart’s state-of-the-art supply chain capabilities - ranging from storing, picking, packing and shipping items to handling returns and customer service. WFS has been created to enable sellers to generate more profitable sales of their inventory at scale, while in tandem growing their business through Walmart Marketplace. Helping to create WFS is Netrush and Pattern. Both firms work with other organisations to empower companies to navigate selling on a third-party marketplace, and both have been vital in developing WFS. Speaking on Walmart’s website, Raj Sapru, Chief Operating Officer of Netrush, said: “As more shoppers start to use Walmart’s online marketplace, it’s important to meet shoppers where they are. It’s a priority to us as a retailer that we provide a premium experience that matches the quality of the products we sell.
