Top speaker line-up confirmed for SHD Logistics Conference

The head of automation and robotics at Ocado and the general manager for one of Amazon UK’s latest fulfilment centres have been confirmed as the two keynote speakers at this year’s SHD Logistics Conference, held at London's British Museum at Tuesday 17 April. Ocado’s Alex Harvey will join Amazon (more details will be announced later this week) in exploring how their respective company’s robotics and automation processes have transformed their warehouse operations. Harvey, the morning keynote speaker, will discuss the development of Ocado’s proprietary warehousing automation at the online grocery retailer’s technology division, Ocado Technology. Amazon will be presenting the afternoon keynote before Wincanton’s Marcos Hart and Sainsbury’s senior strategy manager James Osborn take to the stage.
