Study: Air freight forwarders face significant disruption within next 5 years

Approximately two-thirds of logistics personnel expect that traditional air freight forwarding could shrink within the next five years due to tech start-ups, carriers and Amazon, based on a report called Global Freight Forwarding by Transport Intelligence,  the Loadstar reported.The report states that only 17% of respondents believe there is no threat to freight forwarders, even as digitization continues to expand in influence.
