SCApath and Spinnaker Recently Teamed Up to Provide End-to-End Supply Chain Strategy, Planning, and Execution Consulting Services

SCApath LLC and Spinnaker SCS LLC announced today the unification of their supply chain consultancy companies, as well as an investment from Black Lake Capital and Source Capital to boost potential expansion. Spinnaker, which focuses on Supply Chain Strategy and Planning, and SCApath, which focuses on Supply Chain Execution and Omnichannel Fulfillment, provide complementary services that, when integrated, can assist customers in addressing a wider range of supply chain issues and opportunities. The new company, Spinnaker SCA, will be headquartered in Boulder, CO, and will include all members of the SCApath and Spinnaker leadership teams, as well as the entire advisory and technology organizations of each firm.

The merger of the two firms, funded by Black Lake Capital, LLC and Source Capital, LLC, comes during a time of high demand and expansion for supply chain consulting, analytics, technology, and business process outsourcing services, as businesses realize the value of good preparation and implementation skills in driving growth, adapting to market disruptions, servicing clients, and enhance profitability.

"Today marks an important and exciting move forward for SCApath as we join forces with Spinnaker to extend our joint range of services tailored to add value to our clients "Evan McCaig, Chief Executive Officer of Spinnaker SCA, explains. "Our cumulative experience currently totals 50 years in supply chain design and strategy, planning, omnichannel, delivery and logistics management, and change management. We have witnessed significant changes in the supply chain industry over the last decade, especially in 2020, indicating that we are now front and center in driving growth, resilience, and meaningful value for our client organizations. This is an ideal moment for our two companies to partner to create a supply chain powerhouse. It's been extremely satisfying to be a part of our client's growth, and we look forward to extending our collaborations even further."

SCApath and Spinnaker have a similar approach to building client relationships and providing services. SCApath and Spinnaker also form long-term corporate relationships with clients, delivering both business and technical experience and services. The firms' combined business services also provide a broader range of main supply chain innovations.

"Throughout our 20-year history, Spinnaker has concentrated on gaining broad experience in supply chain management and supply chain planning, working with the majority of leading planning technologies, and working with over 200 organizations to strengthen their skills and achieve results," said John Sharkey, Chief Operating Officer of Spinnaker SCA."Spinnaker and SCApath's merger puts together two companies with common business and IT leadership clientele, as well as identical philosophies on how we work to make our customers successful - but distinct and overlapping fields of supply chain expertise. The merger offers an incredible chance to do even more to support our clients while still growing the merged company."
