Oreta and Telstra bring SD-WAN to Kings Transport

IT services provider Oreta and Telstra have partnered to deploy a new SD-WAN network for Kings Transport. The Melbourne-based freight company tapped Oreta to refresh its ageing networking hardware in an effort to cut down its costs and increase bandwidth. The deployment came off the back of a nine-month migration from Kings’ on-premise hardware to Google Cloud Platform. “On the back of Oreta migrating all Kings Transport applications from on-premise to GCP, the Kings IT department wanted a more agile and flexible network that can give them better access to their applications in Google,” explained the provider’s co-founder and director Rajitha Rajasingham.
