Logistics Systems Incorporated (LSI) announced that it has been awarded a prime contract to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide logistics and life cycle management support for the Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)-184 program. Under this contract, LSI will assist in integrating the acquisition and sustainment activities into a coordinated process to ensure PDA-184 materiel readiness for the Warfighter. Specific support areas include systems engineering, logistics, and training servicesLawrence Wilkerson, LSI’s President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “This is a great win for us on an incredibly important initiative. It is truly gratifying for LSI to be selected again by DISA, this time to make such a significant contribution to the DISA PDA 184 program. LSI views this award as an opportunity to use our valuable experience in logistics, engineering and training development to provide high-level sustainment support to DISA.”
