3G Introduces Pacejet Transportation Planning for NetSuite

Pacejet | May 26, 2021

3G, a global provider of cloud-based transportation management software (TMS) and multi-carrier shipping solutions, today announced the release of Pacejet Transportation Planning for NetSuite to midmarket shippers using the NetSuite cloud-based ERP. Pacejet Transportation Planning is a NetSuite-specific order fulfillment solution that uses 3G's advanced transportation optimization engine to analyze consolidation opportunities and pick the most efficient and cost-effective combination of transportation modes and carriers.

“Transportation Planning was developed to control inbound planning for a shipper's operations, consolidating multiple sales orders into fewer, more efficient, cost-effective shipments,” Ron Lee, Chief Technology Officer, Pacejet, a division of 3G, said. “The solution is intended to decrease expenses by up to 30% and slash carrier rates by up to 20%.”

The following are some of the benefits of Pacejet Transportation Planning:

• Fewer shipments: Orders with similar ship-to locations, delivery windows, and weights are automatically combined.

• Reduced costs: Assigns the best transportation mode and carrier for each cargo through a network of parcels, less-than-truckload, and third-party logistics providers.

• Increased warehouse and transportation efficiency: Reduces the number of shipments that must be packed.

“Pacejet Transportation Planning offers NetSuite ERP users a simple and seamless user experience that makes inbound planning as quick and easy as possible,” said Guido Haarmans, Vice President, SuiteCloud Developer Network and Partner Programs, Oracle NetSuite. “With this new SuiteApp, we are extending our sophisticated ERP system and assisting NetSuite users in achieving highly configurable, next-generation collaborative planning to precisely balance orders and shipping plans.”
