Global Logistics : Infographic

“The line between disorder and order lies in logistics”. This is a famous quote from ancient Chinese military general, Sun Tzu. Many military leaders have emphasised the importance of logistics in winning wars. Today, business leaders recognise the importance of logistics to ensure that they win the battle against their competitors. From small businesses to global corporations, each and every one of them uses some form of logistics. Many will take care of logistics internally by sourcing a supplier, warehousing products and handling reverse logistics. However, in recent years there has been a shift in trend, with many companies, large and small, choosing to outsource the responsibility to third party logistics companies. There has also been an increase in the use of logistics consulting companies, who offer advice all along the supply chain.
