DP World to launch awareness programme on logistics, trade

UAE-based DP World, a global operator of shipping terminals, will launch an international education programme, focusing on trade and logistics in a bid to attract better talent to the industry.The programme aims to counter findings revealed by a recent survey held across the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region commissioned by DP World that highlights widespread misunderstanding of trade and logistics, its role in everyday lives, value to economies and potential as a career option, said a statement from the company.
