Bracing for Brexit: how manufacturers can prepare, with systems equipped for change

For over 40 years, European manufacturers have been designing their supply chains to a trade regime requiring zero tariffs and minimal paperwork. Brexit has the potential to turn this system on its head and for UK manufacturers it poses many challenges. While acting too soon may not make much sense, waiting to see what the future brings is too risky. What manufacturers can do is limit the potential negative consequences by adopting a different approach to strategy; one that considers a number of future scenarios, and questions whether the right systems are in place to cope with any changes.
