Spotlight

GE Digital and Intel have developed GoLINC, a joint solution optimized for locomotives. It leverages the “virtuous cycle” of capturing edge data on the locomotive itself and marrying it to macro data from other trains stored in the cloud by Predix, the operating system for the Industrial Internet. Locomotive operators everywhere can use edge and cloud data to avoid outages and maximize efficiency in real time. Every piece of new data makes the edge data and the cloud data smarter and more effective, enabling locomotives everywhere to be safer and more efficient.
