"Turvo's commitment to providing a comprehensive supply chain management solution to its customers is unmatched, and we are excited about this partnership and opportunity to further their efforts,Without this integration, brokers typically resort to unnecessary and time-consuming manual processes such as outbound calling, email blasts, and negotiations. Through this partnership, FleetOps will proactively bring trucking companies to brokers by aggregating capacity across load boards, then provide easy access to this information through Turvo's TMS platform."

-Chris Atkinson, CEO of FleetOps.

This partnership will be instrumental in saving brokers' time - from easy posting of loads to on-the-spot booking, all within a platform they already use, We are constantly looking for ways to streamline processes and offer efficiencies to our customers, and this integration with FleetOps will further support our efforts.

Semtech and WITRAC Transform Asset Tracking For Maritime Transport Utilizing LoRaWAN®

Semtech | May 27, 2022

Semtech Corporation (Nasdaq: SMTC), a leading global supplier of high performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductors and advanced algorithms, announced that Boluda Corporación Marítima, a leading global maritime services provider, will leverage an asset tracking solution from WITRAC, a Valencia-based company offering innovative technology solutions that connect and provide visibility to the value chain. Integrated with Semtech’s LoRa® devices and the LoRaWAN® standard, WITRAC’s Total Track & Trace Intelligent Platform transports cold chain assets in Boluda’s supply chain, providing citizens of the Canary Islands with the first daily transportation of cargo from the peninsula with over 350 successful voyages. “Semtech’s LoRa devices offered a cost-effective solution for WITRAC’s Total Track & Trace Intelligent Platform. With ships transporting thousands of containers, installing a satellite modem in each container would make this type of solution economically non-viable, Employing a network using LoRaWAN as well as leveraging the LoRa 2.4GHz band allowed us to place a WITRAC device in every single container to share real-time offshore and onshore visibility to thousands of containers — an unmatched value for our customers.” -Jose Pons Ballester, co-founder and CTO of WITRAC Using a combination of LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, BLE, and cellular connectivity options in the same hardware device, WITRAC’s Total Track & Trace Intelligent Platform provides real-time visibility and control of offshore operations. In addition to temperature monitoring, the platform’s “Perfect Route System” is able to geolocate a fleet’s vessels, allowing alerts to be set for deviations in fuel consumption, speed, routes, or miles traveled, which also permits shippers to take corrective measures en route. The success of the platform led Boluda to implement WITRAC’s platform to monitor the location and temperature status of the fresh food and medicine on its seven container vessels traveling 700 miles from the Spanish mainland on the maritime corridor linking the Port of Cádiz to the island ports of Las Palmas and Tenerife. “Remotely monitoring the location and temperature of assets during an entire cold chain was once viewed as a challenge. Through implementing LoRa devices and LoRaWAN, asset tracking has never been more simple and cost effective, WITRAC’s tracking solution is a valuable example of how LoRa and LoRaWAN networks can transform smart logistics to prevent loss or damage of assets no matter the distance.” -Marc Pégulu, vice president of IoT product marketing and strategy for Semtech’s Wireless and Sensing Products Group WITRAC Co-Founder and CTO José Pons Ballester will be discussing the benefits of the Boluda “Daily Canarias” solution at the LoRaWAN World Expo taking place July 6-7, 2022, in Paris, France. Oatly Adds Electric Trucks to Its North American Transportation Logistics

Oatly Group AB | June 10, 2022

Oatly Group AB (Nasdaq: “OTLY”) (“Oatly” or the “Company”), the world’s original and largest oat drink company, announced today the introduction of electric powered, heavy-duty trucks to the Company’s ground transportation in North America. Finding initial success with utilizing electric trucks as part of the Company’s transportation operations in Europe beginning in 2020, Oatly now expands the initiative to include an initial fleet of five electric trucks in the U.S. As part of its ambition to set an example as a future company, Oatly aims to shift to 100% sustainable ground transport for its products and materials by 2029. The introduction of electric trucks within U.S. operations helps build toward this ambition. “Oatly is on a mission to transform the global food system into one that is healthier for people and the planet. A critical part of that system includes the transportation we and the broader food and beverage industry utilize across the supply chain,” said . Any improvements we can make across our business to have less of an impact on the environment, including within our transportation logistics, is a step in the right direction and something we constantly strive for at Oatly. We’re thrilled to get these electric trucks on the road in North America and continue our global transition to sustainable ground transportation.” -Chi Mbachu, VP of Logistics at Oatly, North America Einride, a leader in providing electric and autonomous shipping solutions and Oatly’s existing electric shipping partner in Europe, now serves as the Company’s freight mobility partner in North America. For Oatly, Einride provides electric freight solutions including connected electric trucks, charging infrastructure and connectivity services, all powered by Einride Saga, which manages a proprietary operating system that ensures optimized and efficient shipping. Based on estimates from Einride, utilizing this fleet of five trucks in the U.S. will save Oatly an estimated 400,000 kg of CO2 over the next year, as compared to using diesel trucks on the same routes. That’s a carbon footprint reduction of 87% on selected routes, as compared to using diesel trucks. Oatly is utilizing its fleet of five electric trucks from its two currently operating factories in the U.S., located in Ogden, UT and Millville, NJ. Multi-purpose routes are scheduled routinely from Oatly plants to nearby recycling and packaging partners. As one of the first companies in Europe to implement a fleet of heavy-duty electric trucks beginning in October 2020, Oatly operates four electric trucks across various routes in the region, specifically in Sweden, which operate 24/7 live transports between Oatly production facilities and warehouse partners. In Europe, Oatly sees an 87% reduction in CO2 utilizing the fleet of four electric trucks, compared to diesel equivalents on the same routes and expects to save 2,000 tons of CO2 in the European region by the fifth year of the initiative’s operations. Eighteen months since launch, this projection remains on track. About Oatly We are the world’s original and largest oat drink company. Rockwell Automation Study Finds Traceability, Serialization Key Initiatives in APAC Corporate Supply Chain Strategies

Rockwell Automation | August 16, 2022

Rockwell Automation, the world's largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, finds that digital transformation, sustainability initiatives, and customer experience (CX) improvements are among the top priorities driving the development of new corporate supply chain strategies, according to a new study conducted by Forrester Consulting. The study, Increase Brand Loyalty and Generate ROI with Improved Traceability, was commissioned by Rockwell Automation to understand the degree to which environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments, external regulatory demands, and brand reputation drive private-sector interest in supply chain traceability solutions. According to the survey, Asia-Pacific companies (62%) are most focused on the digital transformation of their supply chain, and 59% said their company wants to implement or improve sustainability initiatives. While compliance remains a key driver of new investments in supply chain management, demands related to sustainability and customer experience have propelled these strategic shifts. In fact, 57% of supply chain decision makers have already implemented or are expanding initiatives that will reduce waste within their supply chain. Forrester Consulting's research on behalf of Rockwell Automation is based on a January 2022 survey of 307 global supply chain decision makers about their use of or interest in traceability and serialization solutions to optimize their supply chain. To download a copy of the full report, click here. "While companies are already seeing some success from serialization initiatives, those that invest in more comprehensive traceability solutions often see improved data ownership, cost savings from reduced counterfeiting and grey market diversion, and higher customer satisfaction," -Christine Akselsen, CEO of Kezzler. Rockwell Automation's supply chain capabilities combined with Kezzler's cloud-based traceability technologies help customers connect suppliers, manufacturing, logistics, and consumers into one real-time traceability platform. Rockwell and Kezzler have already created traceability solutions for customers like FrieslandCampina, one of the world's largest dairy companies. About Rockwell Automation Rockwell Automation, Inc.
