Power consumption: Energy cost have increased 33% over the past decade. Consumption rose from 5.25 c/KWH to over 7.01 c/KWH this accounting for nearly 15 percent of the facilities operating cost. Next to energy, labor costs are the second largest concern for a 3PL warehouse.
