FREIGHT MANAGEMENT LOGISTICS LAUNCHES NEW WAREHOUSING SUBSIDIARY, OPENS WAREHOUSE IN TEXAS

Freight Management Logistics, LLC, (FML), a proven leader in moving steel, nonferrous, breakbulk, project, and bulk cargo, has recently launched a subsidiary company, FML Warehousing, and Logistics Services, LLC (FML Warehousing & Logistics) and commenced the operation of a new warehouse facility. The new warehouse is centrally located in Houston, Texas off HWY 225 between I-610 and Beltway 8 and serves the Port of Houston and surrounding areas.
With 140,000 square feet of warehouse and 10 acres of open laydown area, FML Warehousing & Logistics provides the following services: general commodities warehousing, a Container Freight Station, rail transloading, bulk transfer and bagging, local and regional trucking, container drayage, and freight consolidation. The new state-of-the-art warehouse is positioned to service steel, metals, lumber, project cargo, paper, cotton, general cargo, and free-flowing bulk. It is rail-served by the PTRA Railroad, which does the switching for both Union Pacific and the BNSF railroads, and provides service to the Kansas City Southern Railroad for any freight that originates in or is going to Mexico. The warehouse is able to receive bulk material by rail and has a dual line bagging plant for super bags.
